Terms and Conditions of Mandate

By reading this document, the reader (hereinafter, the “Principal”) acknowledges that EasyWill Services LLC, with registered office at Office SM1-02-114, Arab Bank Building, Port Saeed, Dubai, United Arab Emirates – License No: 1454735, duly incorporated under the laws of the United Arab Emirates (the “Mandatary” or “EasyWill”), may act on the Principal’s behalf and for the Principal’s account in carrying out the activities described below.

Object of the Mandate

Translation of the Will drafted through EasyWill’s platform into the languages required by the competent authorities of the United Arab Emirates; technical review of the document’s contents to verify correctness and, in case of non-compliance or errors, notification via email with suggested corrections. Registration and filing of the Will with the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD), in accordance with applicable UAE legislation; payment, on behalf of the Principal, of notarial, registration, and any other administrative fees or costs related to the procedure; booking of the videoconference appointment with a notary authorized by the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department for the final validation of the Will.

In performing this mandate, EasyWill may, where necessary and at its sole discretion, avail itself of third parties, certified agencies, or duly authorized professionals, while supervising the proper execution of each activity and ensuring compliance with high standards of diligence and professionalism.

Service Fees

The cost of the comprehensive service—platform access, preparation, translation, technical review, registration, and filing of the Will with ADJD—amounts to AED 5,508.75 (USD 1,500), all-inclusive and VAT included.

Additional Services

  • EasyWill Lifetime – USD 29.00/year (AED 106.50).
    Keeps the estate (real estate, bank accounts, investments, valuables) up to date via a personal Dashboard, with annual reminders and secure encrypted storage.
  • EasyWill Afterlife – USD 39.00/year (AED 143.25), includes Lifetime.
    Ensures execution of the Will if the appointed Executor is unavailable or deceased. EasyWill may step in as Executor, contact heirs using provided details, and initiate execution procedures without delay.

Limitation of Liability

  • EasyWill assumes no responsibility for the content of the Will, which remains the exclusive responsibility of the Principal for correctness, accuracy, consistency, and legal compliance.
  • EasyWill does not provide personalized legal advice, nor does it draft or modify the content of the Will, which follows an official format approved and issued by the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department; the dispositions are solely the manifestation of the Principal’s will.
  • While acting with utmost diligence, EasyWill shall not be liable for rejections, delays, amendments, or interpretations by judicial or notarial authorities, nor for consequences arising from subsequent legislative or regulatory changes.
  • The Principal releases EasyWill from any civil, criminal, or administrative liability arising from the content, nature, or effects of the registered Will and waives any future action or claim for compensation against it, whether by the Principal or third parties.
  • EasyWill undertakes to register the corrected Will on the ADJD portal as soon as possible, ensuring completion within five (5) working days from receipt of the corrected draft.
  • EasyWill shall not be liable for delays caused by third parties, such as temporary or prolonged malfunction of the ADJD portal or unavailability of notarial validation slots. Notwithstanding the foregoing, EasyWill shall perform this mandate with accuracy, transparency, and in full compliance with applicable regulations.

Confidentiality and Data Protection

  • EasyWill processes personal and sensitive data in compliance with applicable local and international privacy and data-protection regulations, adopting high standards of security and confidentiality.
  • Appropriate technical and organizational measures include encryption, controlled access, backup protocols, and secure storage to ensure protection, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • No disclosure of the Will’s contents or personal information to third parties occurs except where strictly necessary to perform the activities under this mandate.

Validity and Term

This mandate remains valid until completion of the activities described above, unless revoked in advance by written notice via email to [email protected] within three (3) days from acceptance.

In case of late revocation or if activities have already commenced, the Principal shall reimburse expenses already incurred and pay a penalty equal to fifty percent (50%) of the amount paid, as compensation for preliminary services rendered.

In the event of non-payment of EasyWill Lifetime and EasyWill Afterlife subscriptions, such Additional Services shall be suspended thirty (30) days after the missed payment. Suspension applies only to Additional Services; access to the platform for viewing or downloading the Will is not interrupted.
